Ester's The & Kaffehandel (Ester's Tea & Coffeeshop) hasn't been serving afternoon tea for that long, but the place itself has been around, at that very address, since 1899. Reputedly being the oldest tea & coffee merchant in Stockholm.
It's a really cosy, homely, unpretentious place with a charming old-fashioned feel to it and a very nice staff. The afternoon tea is quite lovely, with a dash of Swedish originality, and if you want whipped cream for your scones all you have to do is ask the very accomodating. Your tea of choice is available from the vast selection, that's of course also possible to purchase.
